We prefer party and group reservations be made 1 week in advance, but it can be done in less time than that as long as space and equipment is available.  The cut off time to make reservations for weekend play is Friday at 4:00 PM. 

For group play during non-business hours you must have a minimum of 10 pre-paid players.  The first 10 players can not include members and other discounts on play.   If your entire group has free coupons for play you must make reservations for a minimum of 20 players.  Reservations during non-business hours must be approved one week in advance.  Most discounts on play are not avilable during non-business hours and all amounts paid are non-refundable.

We can only guarantee equipment for the number of people you make reservations for.
We accept VISA or MASTERCARD if you pay by credit card.  We DO NOT accept checks. 

There is a non-refundable $10 per person deposit that will apply to all party reservations.  Deposits are required the day you make  your reservation or we can not confirm it. 

No-Shows as pertaining to equipment:  No refunds.  Whether or not the equipment is used the rental fee applies becuase the equipment was brought out.  If it has been committed, the equipment is no longer available for anyone else to rent.

No-Shows as pertaining to players: If a player or players don't show and have paid a deposit, that deposit is forfeited and cannot be used toward supplies.  If a player or players don't show but there is someone there from their group that can take their place, they can use the deposit.
 
On the reserved date your goup has a maximum of 45 minutes beyond the reserved time to check-in.  After 45 minutes your deposit will be forfeited and the reserved equipment given to another group.

Our facility is open RAIN or SHINE, so please keep this in mind when making resevations.
In the event that extremely poor wheather is "predicted" on the specific day your group is scheduled to play, the the following policies apply

• If you have a WEEKEND reservation and would like to reschedule or cancel your reservation you need to contact our reservation office at 361-814-3830 by FRIDAY at 4:00pm. Remember ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.

                                       




How the Games Work

The way a party typically runs is once you have everyone there and we
make sure everyone has signed waivers (you can print them out and have
them filled out and signed beforehand to save time!).  We have all the
rental equipment for the players ready to go, will show them how to use it,
go over the basic rules of paintball and cover all safety topics during the
orientation with one of our head refs.  After the orientation we make sure
no one has any questions, make sure that everyone has their equipment
and paint ready and we head out to the field....

When you get to the field:
1. Decide who will be on each team. (this can be done ahead of time)
2. The teams enter the staging box, usually accompanied by their head ref.
3. You notify the referee running the field that you want to play as a
team and he will send one team to each side of the field.

A typical game lasts anywhere from 3-15 minutes depending on which field
is played, the X-Ball field usually running the quicker games. Each team
starts on a different side of the field.  The referee makes sure everyone is
ready from both teams, and then you hear the count...3,2,1 ten seconds...a
silent count to 10 and then.......GO GO GO GO...start shooting and now
you're playing paintball!  The referee calls people out when he sees that
they are hit, a player raises their hand when hit and then moves off the
field...if a paintball bounces off and does not break, you are still in the
game, keep playing!  A game is over when the opposing team is eliminated
or the flag is captured and hung on the opponents start box.  After the
game, both teams meet up, talk about the game, switch up the teams if
necessary to make sure both teams are fair.

If you have any trouble with any of your equipment or if you not sure a ball
broke, you can call over a referee and he/she will help you.  WHATEVER
you do DO NOT remove your mask while in a game, the googles cannot
protect you if you take them off!

We will run the games back to back until the members of your party need a
break to ensure maximum play time for everyone.  We can play what ever
field the players want, it's really up to whoever's party it is!

Usually after 4 or 5 games everyone is feeling comfortable with the
action and they can try playing other people from other parties.  We always
check with the party to make sure that everyone is comfortable...we NEVER
force anyone to play with anyone they don't want to, we just want to make
sure all players have a good time.
