How we RECYCLE !
Telephone Poles How we Recycle Telephone Poles

Before the poles we supported the netting with 4x4's purchased from the lumber yard but we soon found out these poles were no match for the winds of Corpus and they would often break completely in half. The most obvious and important use of the Telephone Phones is to protector our spectators by supporting our netting from coming down in the all too common gusty wind of Corpus Christi.  Telephone poles also provide the support for our SHADED AREAS, especially during those hot summer months.  We cut these poles to the desired length, trailer these poles to the park, and then use them to build nearly all the SEATING and TABLES.   These poles make excellent billboards for advertising purposes and when installed adequately will likely never come down or be affected by any amount of wind.  These poles would ultimately be chopped up and end in a landfill if we did not attempt to find ways to reuse them all over the Extreme Sports Park.  To facilitate the reuse of the telephone poles we currently sell them to interested parties and will even cut and deliver them off location.

Spools

When you arrive at Play Extreme Sports Park you will notice spools everywhere!  The spools serve many useful purposes with the most obvious being displaying numerous advertising signs running along the road in front of the park.  The spools massive size makes it perfect height for signage and for players to hide behind.  Just about every field at the park utilizes a spool in some way to provide places to hide behind while on the field.  When we aren't using the spools for signs or as obstacles the spools are laid over and easily converts to a  large round table.  These very versatile spools would end up in a landfill if we did find all these used for them.  They too are available for sell and make excellent, quick to set up, tables for any family or yard.

Water Containers  How we RECYCLE Containers

One day we were contacted by Paul about these huge storage containers that they had in their work yard that they were about to send to a landfill.  He wanted to know if we wanted to pick them up to be used as obstacles at the park.  When we went to his company we feel in love with these huge durable plastic containers that would make perfect obstacles on the field.  The containers are movable so the fields can be changed to accommodate different field set ups.  They can be up to 8 feet  tall so that most players won't have to get on there knees to hide during the game.  The containers are also extremely durable which means they will last forever on the playing field and not in the  landfill.

Wood Pallets

When we order paint we get a up to a 340 cases delivered on three wooden pallets.  If these pallets are strong enough they get stacked one on top of another on the playing field as obstacles.  Millions of pallets are used by companies across the globe to hold or ship merchandise and most of these pallets are just discarded in landfills.  We do our best to make sure that every pallet does not end up destined for the landfill.

Plastic Pallets

These obstacles were once used to hold paper products until they ended up on the playing field.  Plastic pallets are durable, movable, and heavy enough to remain in place despite the windy conditions.   The pallets when stood up and bolted together make for excellent front and side coverage while playing the field.  We are constantly working to increase the fun factor on the field and at this point we are searching for a  paint/glow in the dark product to apply to these completely black pallets to bring another element to the game during night play.
There is a lighter version of  the plastic pallets that we use for off location play of the popular Laser Tag Games.  These light pallets are much easier to move and stack efficiently during the transport to locations all over Texas.

Used Fence Planks

Fence planks that have been replaced with new fencing can be used to make all of kinds of obstacles at the paintball park.  We currently use most of the fence plank for the fence surrounding the  Alamo and to erect buildings complete with doors, windows, and awnings on the Western Field.  We plan on using future fence stock to build more shaded areas and a covered hitting area on the Golf Driving Range.

Hyper Ball Tubing

Used to transport water under ground these blemished pipes end up as large obstacle all over the park.  Most people that visit the park probably don't realize that they also double as our Trash Cans all over the seating area.  You can saw this heavy plastic tubes to fit an desired length and they roll easy for varying field layouts.  These things don't ever break down and thanks to the field won't be ever seeing a landfill.
